Looking for a challenging and rewarding job? Every day is something new for skilled trades workers at Harley-Davidson. Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Electricians, Maintenance Technicians and Toolmakers support the production operation by responding immediately to breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. These highly technical jobs require excellent troubleshooting skills.

Our Apprenticeship Programs give participants the opportunity to build diverse, technical skills, while completing required training and related coursework in order to receive their Journey-level Card.

Apprenticeship Programs

Our Apprenticeship Programs are Wisconsin registered apprenticeships and are designed to provide real world, hands-on experience, while also providing classroom learning through a local technical college. Harley-Davidson will cover the cost of tuition and books for all related apprenticeship coursework. Programs focus on key fields where Harley-Davidson is looking for talent – each one is used as a feeder for our Journey-level Skilled Trades Workforce in the same field.

We offer Apprenticeship positions for:

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the Machine Repair field. The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journey-level Card in Machine Repair.

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the Tool & Die field. The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journey-level Card in Tool & Die.

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the field as an Industrial Electrician. The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journey-level Card as an Industrial Electrician.

Combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training and related classroom instruction hours in the field as a Maintenance Technician. The program is intended to build the skills and competencies necessary to obtain your Journey-level Card as a Maintenance Technician.
