If you actually ride your bike this tire won't last you 3000 miles I know how to ride I don't hammer on my bike in the straights only in corners. I just went on a 300 mile ride down the hwy and u literally could watch the tred dissappear. Junk won't every buy another one really disappointed with Michelin normaly they make awsome tire must be a deal with harley for almost a 300 dollar tire it's not worth it. read more.

    • Been using this tire since purchase and just put 10,000 miles on it with a few hundred more I can throw on it. I think you may just got a bad lot.

    Excellent Handling. Great Tread Life
These Michelin Scorchers came stock on my 2011 FXDC and were Excellent as far as handling in all weather conditions, especially rain here in the Pacific Northwest. Tread life was excellent, as well. Had over 16K on them when I replaced them. Took dealer's advice and installed Dunlops. Sorry I did. I'm at barely 9K and the Dunlops are worn out. Just ordered new Michelin Scorchers to replace them. Learned my lesson! read more.

I have 15K on this tire and the center tread is almost gone. That's better than I have done with the Dunlop on my 99 FXD. Handles great and very smooth. Trying to decide on replacement.

    Not Good
Good handling tire, BUT very over priced for a tire that barely makes it to the 7000 mile mark. At 7200 miles I have to replace both front and rear, because they wore out. (Note: I don't do burnouts or anything irresponsible while riding), and I have been riding for 30 + years, If Harley wants almost $250.00 for the tire plus a tube and a rim strip and labor, they need to lower this price a whole lot. Especially for a tire that wears out faster than a Dunlop. read more.

    • Lowrider s 2017 still with the original tires at 8,000 miles, and getting close to the wear out maker. I keep the proper air pressure. These are good tires that stick well on the hot FL asphalt. Guess I will stick with them.

    • 7k is not long for a set of tires to last. That's about half of what you can expect from a set.. The front tire being worn out in 7k tells me you are doing something wrong. Do you run air in these tires? If so is it recommended pressure? Very unusual

  • Question:

The headline description and the sidewall script on the image says this is a 160/70-17 (Bias) tire, but the detailed description below says it´s a 160/70B17 (Bias Belted). Is this a kind of error? Bias Rr/Bias Belted Fr combo is not recomended/allowed...

    • Answer:
Hello Gasoline Man, It looks to be a typo and should have the B in the description but also this is a rear tire and not a front. Gigglesthehelper
