Are these rated for snow ice? With the silicate compound in them for winter riding (I have a 2023 PAS
Puck Cushion - North eastern Idaho
    • Answer:
Hello Puck Cushion, No, a Michelin Scorcher tire is not considered good for snow and ice, its tread pattern and rubber compound are optimized for dry and wet conditions. Thanks blairmke
  • Question:
    5/26/2021
IS this considered a 50/50 tire? Also, any idea on milage out of these tires? I understand there are a lot of variables involved, but I'm looking for an average.
    Jerry - California
    • Answer:
I would say it's more of a 70/30 really and longevity is around 6-8,000 fully dependent on use. I have 6,000 on mine and my rear is about done, soft compound and very sticky on the road. Overall I love these tires but would like better life out of them.
      • Answer:
I had to replace mine at 7k
      • Answer:
Mostly do highway miles. I'm replacing mine just before the 10k mark
      • Answer:
This is an 80/20 tire. I changed mine at 5,500 miles and they had a bit more to go.
      • Answer:
The tire is rated as 80/20 for the street tread, 80 on road and 20 off road. As for reviews please look at Michelin web site for a complete set of reviews from actual riders that used them. This tire has been out for a while and been on different bikes.
      • Answer:
Hello Jerry, If you mean 50% onroad and 50% offroad then yes. As far as mileage I havent seen any numbers stating mileage. Gigglesthehelper
