I love the heated jacket. I cant see myself riding without one with me. I do have to return mine. It started to turn off by its self. I am sure HD will make it right

I plugged it in to my 2024 Road Glide (this model bike has heated gear jacks under the seat) turned it on and it immediately heated up. Kept me warm on short and long rides in 40 plus days. I won't ride in colder weather, but I assume it would be great. The only down side is that I think the plug is too short. It barely reached the wired connector to the bike, but did reach. I ordered a 24 inch Gerbing extension cord (from Revzilla, as Harley doesn't carry any) and problem solved. read more

Question:7/25/2024Coming off the jacket controller there are two red connections. One for the battery and one for the pants. off each sleeve is a connection for gloves. Inside left pocket are two black connections (male and female) should they be connected together?Jimbo - Georgia

Answer:Hi Jimbo, The 12v Programmable Heated Women's Jacket Liner is unique in its setup. You have the ability to connect approved HD Glove Liners, 97138-22VM, to the jacket liner. The jacket liner can also pair with the HD Bottoms, 97142-22VW. The HD Harness 97145-22VR connects from the battery to the jacket liner with the gloves and pants. There is the option to purchase sock liners as well...97141-22VM. All powered by your motorcycle battery. Question:4/28/2024I have the heat gear liner and gloves. Well, today the glove wires ripped off the liner wires so it is no longer connected. Any way I can fix the liner wiring that attaches to the glove? Will I have to get a new liner?Valeria - Scranton Pa

Answer:Valeria, Oh no! Unfortunately, when an electrical component is damaged the only option is to repurchase. H-D.com does not offer the option to replace glove wiring. This is similar to wear and tear because it's not a manufacturer defect.
