These shoes should be marketed as casual footwear, not riding shoes. They are wonderfully comfortable to walk in but the soles do not provide proper grip on anything but a dry flat perfect surface. When you come to a stop on a bike you never know what the road surface will be like- sand, gravel, oil, potholes! Improve the sole, please, and I will gladly recommend them. Until then I can only say not a bike shoe!
