Leave other riders in the dust with the biggest, most powerful street-compliant crate performance engine Harley-Davidson has ever created. Built from the bottom up in Milwaukee, this street-tuned 131-cubic-inch Screamin’ Eagle Crate Engine is designed to run with a wide open throttle at high engine speeds and provide instant passing power from cruising speed. Made for riders seeking maximum displacement, compression and flow, it delivers 131 ft-lb of torque to the rear wheel as soon as the throttle is cranked. Stage IV equipped engine includes 131 Stage IV badging on the cylinder heads and timer cover to highlight the powerplant. This street-ready performance motor features the finest Screamin’ Eagle components: engraved CNC-ported cylinder head with CNC-machined chamber and 1mm larger valves, SE8-517 high-lift cam, high-compression forged pistons, high-performance cam bearing, high-performance tappets, patent-protected 4.31" steel sleeve cylinders, 64mm throttle body and cast manifold and 5.5 g/sec fuel injectors.

Coming from a '107. First ride home, being easy for break in., this engine wants to go. Noone could understand this performance until you actually ride it. Powerful and smooth. Unreal performance.

This is the greatest performance add you can do. It is a totally different bike. Be careful and get used to it and don’t hurt yourself. Enjoy and have lots of fun. I do see a major speeding ticket in my future though.

    • This is an update. I have put 20K miles on the 131 crate motor with no issues at all. If you are thinking about stepping up to the crate motor, stop thinking, DO IT AND HAVE FUN!!!

Just put the 131 upgrade on my 2020 RG. Got it Dyno tuned with stats better than advertised here. 142TQ, 138HP. I can’t go slow. Doing it again now on my 2019 CVO SG. 117 to 131, fast cruisers just got really fast, it’s remarkable.

    • The numbers are not what I was hoping for, I had my 2019 RG Special fitted with the 117” kit and am getting 130 for torque and 125 horsepower, all this with a 4 year warranty.
