I purchased a set of the Streamliner Grips since I had the streamliner collection on my 2023 Road Glide Special. Took them home and these are not for internally wired applications. I went back to the dealer and wound up with a set of Kahuna heated grips which fit perfectly, they are plug and play and super easy to install. No need for any kind of adapter. You should really update your applications for the Streamliner heated grips. I had to make 3 trips to the dealer to complete this job. Including the return of the adapter listed in the application. read more.

Finish the streamliner look! I think it's a great look and the installation was fairly simple but takes a lot of patience! I feel like one side gets warmer than the other but both get hot!

Product works as advertised; but install instructions assumed this was a first installation on the bike. There should be separate instructions for replacing existing heated hand grips

I had these put on my new RKS. These are the worst heated grips ever! Even on the highest setting, I could put my bare on on them without much warmth. Do not buy!

Please clarify "The power wires must be wired external of the handlebar." Is this on ALL applications, or just the 08-13 models with internal wired handlebars?
    Stan - Ohio
    • Answer:
You can custom install these, for internal wiring, by Dremmeling an notch, on the inside of the control housing. There are YouTube videos showing how to do it. That’s how I learned.

      • Answer:
Hi Stan, "Does not fit ’08-’13 models with internally wired handlebars." If your '08-'13 has internally wired handlebars these will not work. Meaning the standard handlebar with internally wired handlebars will not work--probably not enough room. Power wires are separate from the actual wiring components for the hand grips. read more.

This question was asked by "bigt-Texas" on 4/6/21 regarding the Streamlineer heated grips. Are these grips waterproof? It was never answered you just gave fitment info. So are these grips waterproof?
    RGrider13 - Los Angeles
    • Answer:
I can say, without a doubt, THESE ARE WATERPROOF!! I’ve ridden tens of thousands of miles, with these, through the heaviest rains. They have always worked flawlessly! Signed: Retired Motor Officer, Motor 10 MPDC

Hi RiGrider13, The fitment statement does not say waterproof---so it cannot be waterproof. Alls Best.
