    Poor torx fittment

I bought this today and I am very careful making sure the torx bit is seated correctly and I torque everything to specs. While torquing these one of the torx bolts stripped. Not sure why Harley decided to go away from the allen head to a torx head (engineering department decision probably). Not worth the $16 I spent and reinstalled the allen head bolts.if you are going to buy these, buy two sets. They look good but not worth the $16. read more.

These screws are just fine. Feel more substantial than stock sink screws.

    Are these available in black?
    Chad - Wise, VA
  • Question:

These say they fit a 2023 FLHC but they actually do not. These are 1/4-20 bolts and the factory M8 Softail bolts are 9-24x5/8.
    Partsbabe - NC
    • Answer:
I'm looking all over online and cannot find 9-24x5/8. I can however find 10-24x5/8 screws all day long. Not sure if they'll fit. But for the price, I'll give them a shot.
