    Perfect Accent for the Bags!

I swapped out the stock chrome saddlebag levers for the gloss black ones on my 2024 Road King Special, and wow—what a difference! These levers are the perfect accent, seamlessly tying into the bike’s blacked-out aesthetic. The glossy finish looks sleek, tough, and way more cohesive than the chrome levers that came standard. Honestly, Harley should’ve shipped the Special with these from the factory; the chrome just doesn’t match the vibe. Installation was a snap, and the levers feel solid and function flawlessly. They’re a small upgrade with a massive impact on the bike’s overall look. If you’re rocking a Road King Special, do yourself a favor and get these gloss black levers—pure perfection! read more.

Great addition to my street glide ST. These should have been installed from factory and not the chrome. But glad i changed them out.

Easy to install, the latches blend right in with the rest of the bike and helps them not be noticed. I would have thought these would be standard with a factory black themed bike but at least they're not prohibitively priced.

Not threaded what is the thread so I can tap them myself
    • Answer:
Jmp2, When installing the screw, the screw will make the threads when installed. The thread on the screw is a 8-32 thread. Thanks, LeakyShovel73

Are these the same latches that are used on 2022 Lowrider ST saddle bags?

What material are these? Plastic? Aluminum?
  • Question:
    1/12/2022
Why do these come not threaded. Went to local Harley dealer and they could not figure it out either, is this by design or a factory defect?
    McLovin - AZ
    • Answer:
McLovin; The holes are not threaded as they use self threading screws to achieve a tighter thread so the screw will not back itself out. It is made this way. Thanks, LeakyShovel73
