I love this item, but I wished they stressed that it was a 3 piece part.

Does not come with all parts required to install

It came in today and after looking over the instruction manual, I can't put it on my bike unless i buy the saddlebags before installing because the docking kit screws that come with the saddlebags go through the front holes of the bracket. They may as well just include this part in the saddlebag kit. Do not buy this part unless you're purchasing the $800 saddle bags at the same time because you will be left with a turn signal/liscence plate relocation bracket that you can't safely attach, as only having the back 2 screws through the bracket risks the bracket swinging down onto your rear tire. On the saddlebag webpage it says this part is required to attach them, the same message should be on the webpage for this part. It is misleading, as I believed I would be able to buy and attach this kit then purchase saddlebags later on. read more.

Too costly to install at dealership.

I rated it 3 out 5 stars because when I called to get a quote for labor to have my local HD install this for me (since it required wiring) the cost of the quote was over $700. Called a second dealership and same thing. That's the cost of the bags alone. So I returned the bags and light relocation kit. Which is a shame because i would have like to have them. read more.

So I ordered this to add in bags and a sissy bar but now seeing it installed I would have ordered it just because of how clean it makes the bike look. Also I got really annoyed hitting my knee on the license plate.

You will need the hardware from the saddlebags for complete installation. Rear fender bracket its tricky to install and you will get additional wires that are not needed and might create
