I find it ironic, that this part is being sold, by the very company who deleted it, in 2003. If this style bearing is an upgrade, then why go to a faulty design in the first place? Harley, you keep dropping the ball. Why should we trust you now?

    • It’s nice that you offer this part but why didn’t you put this part in these engines in the first place? Oh you did but decided to cut costs.

    • This is precisely why I will never buy another new Harley Davidson. A great deal on an old one I have to rebuild anyway?-yes. But a brand new new Harley that's built like this is a ripoff.

How is this better than stock?

    • Answer:
'99 to '02 Twin Cam engines were shipped with a Timken roller bearing on the crankshaft's left side.'03
      • Answer:
From what I understand is they used to have the Timken bearing on both sides and for whatever reason they chose to use inferior parts on the left side cause they figured it would take less abuse, so instead of a recall, (cause it's really no safety issue), this is what they came up with. Also worth note the 110s were more acceptable to the left side failure of this bearing. They all can but I've heard the 110s were the issue. So advice to do some research. read more.
