I ordered this thing and you would think it’s the whole trim no it’s just a side pieces for $137. Harley will and nickel and dime to death.

Great Transition From Fairing to Windscreen

This is a great add-on for you Road Glide. The trim offers a clean transition from the fairing to the windscreen. NOTE- if you purchase the center trim in addition to the side, install one side first leaving the screws as loose as possible. Then install the other side and slightly tighten down on the opposing side a bit more then the first side. The center trim is rigid and will have to be bent to the curve of the windscreen. Take your time to assure proper alignment of the screws or you'll strip screws read more.

    These were machined incorrectly.

The side trim pieces are too short and do not butt up against the center trim leaving like a 1inch gap. I've tried bending the center piece to fit better but no luck. disappointed as I was looking forward to the finished look on the bike. debating weather to keep them on or not.

    Great Looking Trim
I bought this trim to help accent the Faring to windshield and hide the windscreen holes a little and stiffen the windshield. I also bought the center Trim. its very easy to install. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because it comes with Phillips Head screws that have an enamel on it and are poor quality, so if you use a quality screwdriver it will flake the black enamel on the slot where the screwdriver fits into, a tiny bit of metal will show and will make it look a bit tacky. I think HD could do much better by using hex screws instead, which have a jet-like high quality look to it. read more.

Will this cover the cracks that always develop on the windshields around the screws?

    • Answer:
Hello Roxanne, The trim components conceal the base of the windshield and sweep over the center Splitstream vent for a continuous band of “custom” Thanks
