I just had my third high beam burn out on my Road King Classic in six months. To add I nsult to injury, my local dealer’s service manager told me there was no warranty. “Road Kings are just hard on lamps.“ I got a second dealer’s opinion and they told me about the 1 year warranty.

    • You can get the exact bulb at your auto parts store for $10. News flash. HD doesn't manufacture it's own bulbs, so why would you pay a dealer $35???

I replaced the OEM bulb (German Osram) with the performance bulb (made in Poland, 2x as expensive). My OEM bulbs last 3 years at least in both my bikes. This one blew the high beam in a month. Stick with OEM

    Better than OEM
Replaced my original light on my 01 1200 sportster. Seems a lot better than the original. So far no problems with the bulb. Night riding is easier because it gives off a truer light. Easy to replace original bulb,

Perf bulbs good light, but burn out WAY too fast !
had one buld where low beam went in few months. replacement bulb went in a week and less than 150 miles. NOT re: my mint bikes wiring or any type of non-standard riding, etc. Bulbs just don't last. Will try again at my local dealer today, and will give HD feedback.

    • So you have had three go bad in short order and yet you still recommend them. Okay then.

    Does not fit '14 FLHXS
H-D website says it fits but my bike has dual halogen lamps in it which are of a smaller size physically. Two plugs. This bulb does not fit dual headlamp bikes. The catalog needs to be updated.
