These scorcher tires come stock on my bike handled well but I only got 5100 miles out of the front, the back tire not as bad may get another 1000 miles, not normal for the front to wear quicker than the back or is it just me, gonna try the commander 2.

    Not bad
First year on my wide glide I put 13000 on this tire with no complaints. The second year I tried the Perelli night dragon tire and it was horrible, weather checked within months and chopped horribly. So this 3rd I went back the the Michelins. A little pricy but a good tire.

    Michelin scorcher 80/90/21
I run about 3500 miles on this tire before i switched it out. And it was 3500 miles too many. This tire is absolutely dangerous. Tar strips and rain grooves and any other deformation in the road will grab this tire from your control. It made a strange humming noise in curves and corners that could be felt through the handle bars. This tire did not brake well in wet conditions. This tire did not corner well do to lack of side tread. In the rain it basically turned in to a ski. This tire put me acrossed 2 lanes of on coming traffic in the rain because it would not take the curve and would not grab when I hit the brakes. This tire is also ridiculously over priced for it's performance , or lack of performance rather. I've tried bringing up these issues at dealerships and they refused to comment and literally walked away when I brought it up. For anyone that rides farther than their local watering hole I highly suggest changing this tire out for basically anything. read more.

    • Same, I hate this tire, especially on rain grooves and tar snakes. Just like trying to steer a pi$$3d off bull by the horns

    • Had Michelin scorcher 31's on my 48 and a friend rented a Sport Glide with them on. Both bikes handled horribly in the rain with these tires. I swapped them out for Metz 888's. My present bike has Dunlops. Both tires are far superior to the Michelins.
