Replaced the original with 7,200 miles. I could have made it to 8,000 but having good rubber is just common sense. The tire more or less is average, but then again so are most riders. This is a good tire for the average guy put on a bike to fit a large audience.

    Change at 8,000 miles

Not sure what the life of this tire should be but I changed mind at 8,000 miles. I may have been able to go further but I did not want to take a chance traveling all the way to Sturgis and run into trouble. I felt the tire did well enough to put the same tire on my Sportster again and I think I might have gotten 10,000 miles out of the original but again why risk it. The tire has good wet weather grip but as the tire wore down I was starting to hear a roar or whine from the tire and it did disappear when I put the new tire on and I assume this was just from the ware of the tire. read more.

what is the recomended tire pressure?
    tetchnfish - rockaway, nj
    • Answer:
Hi Tetchnifish, Well, if you have a Sportster Service Manual the tire pressure should be readily available. If not, I highly recommend going to your local dealership and purchasing a copy as it is very useful. Also, the year and model will possibly vary as well. Thanks!
