Keep comfortable on cool morning or frigid night rides. These thermostatically controlled grips feature variable heat settings controlled with a military grade resistor, and use automatic temperature monitoring to adjust to ambient temperatures. Grips have been thermally mapped to provide a more uniform heat and are designed to achieve a maximum operating temperature approximately 20° Fahrenheit warmer than previous accessory heated grips for added warmth during cold rides.

It was much cleaner when Harley offered internally wired grips. Externally wired grips on apes looks so tacky

I've had these on my 2016 CVO for the past 6 years and they look and work as good as new today. Good range on the temps from low to high and fits all my needs up here in the North Eastern part of the country. The quality is good and I would have rated these higher if they weren't so danged expensive. Seriously people, $300 after shipping and taxes is akin to highway robbery (like everything Harley). Heaven help you if you need to have a Harley shop install them. read more.

I have 14" ape hangers on my 2012 Road Glide ultra. Will the cables be long enough? Also, why can they not be wired through the bars? Are the "plug in play" for my bike or would I need an adapter?
    Bansheemyk2001 - Spokane, wa
    • Answer:
Hello Bansheemyk2001, Yes they will fit on your bike, they were not designed to be wired internally, you do not need an adapter and you will need to splice a wire. Under the guides tab is the install instructions. I hope that helps. Thank you, wildonemke

  • Question:
    7/7/2019
I have a 2006 ultra SE/CVO. While taking my bars off the bike I damaged one of the heated grips to the point it’s unrepairable. I want to put heated grips back on it and the wires will be in the bars. Will these work. If not what will work? Thanks
    Roger1126 - Gallipolis Ohio
    • Answer:
Hello Roger1126, These grips here do not fit the 06' Ultra SE/CVO, however the handgrips that originally came on the bike are available and would have to be ordered through your local H-D dealership. Thank you, Jowill39
  • Question:
    2/21/2019
I have a 2018 Softail Heritage FLHC can these be fitted with cables in bars ? Or are they wired external. I was led to believe it was the case of simply running the feedcables down the bar tubes.
    Spike 55 - uk
    • Answer:
Hello Spike 55, These grips are designed to be run along the outside of the handlebars. Thanks H9FXE
