This was another necessary addition to the’23 Street Glide for me due to my physical condition. I am handicapped (34 years) and wear prosthetics on both legs from the knees down. As a result I have no plantar flexion or dorsiflexion and I am therefore unable to operate a conventional shifter. A heel shifter allows me to keep riding despite my physical disability. Since my “feet” don’t work, I just use my heel for all shifting – heel down on the front shifter for 1st gear or for downshifting and heel on the back shifter for upshifting. I’ve been shifting this way for so long it just feels normal. It works great for me! If not for heel shifters, I would have been sidelined a long time ago. If you are handicapped and worried about your ability to ride, don’t give up! Maybe a heel shifter can work for you! read more.

Horrible site. I have tried to order three items on three occasions from here and they always cancel my order with no justification. If you're out of stock, just say it.

So this heel shifter (#33600325) is added to the original toe shifter? If so I'm not sure how that's done, there is no room on the shifter post. I have a '23 Road Glide.
    Steve - Oklahoma
    • Answer:
Hi Steve. You have to remove the toe shifter, remove the long spacer and install the short spacer that comes with the kit and then both shifters should fit. If you are still having issues, reach out to your local dealer for further assistance.

Why doesn't the extended foldable shifter I had for my 2015 Street Glide not work on my 2020 Road Glide Special?
Rob Funk - Long Beach, CA
    • Answer:
Rob Funk, It would depend on how the foldable shifter was built. You're talking about two different bikes w/ different builds. There may be an issue with how it extends or where it connects on the '20 Road Glide - clearance could be an issue also. Thanks!
