I installed this on a 2022 Street Glide as I wanted to use a wired headset. Read the instructions carefully and check twice before detaching the required wire from the connector. I bought and installed an Ultra dash and placed the plug there instead of having it on the side of the SG dash. Either way you'll get full headset and phone functionality. read more.

    7-pin DIN headset harness

The Boom! Audio Music/Communications Kit worked like a charm on my 2023 FLHXS-ANV. After removing outer fairing, the adapter socket plugged right into the factory plug. No adding of ground wire necessary....all 12 pins already existed. The biggest challenge (AFTER fuel tank was removed) was unsnapping all the plastic clips on the wire trough cover (also, lots of factory-applied tape and zip ties had to be cut off). Not used to doing this sort of thing, so took me longer than some who are better "wrenches". Decided not to stick down the female 7-pin connector to rear of fuel tank (may be doing some other wire trough work for another wiring challenge. The metal bracket seems to hold down the connector with flip lid pretty well (applied moleskin to bottom of connector where it contacts the fuel tank). I did use the adhesive square patch to stick down the main wire harness to rear of tank...figured that can be removed/replaced fairly easily in the future. I use a 5-pin DIN male connector for my "wired" iPlugz (from E.A.R.) and other various wired headset-related gear. Everything working well. Disappointed Harley decided not to include the 7-pin DIN socket in this expensive piece of machinery! My 2016 Street Glide and other Ultra Classic Electra Glides I've owned over the years always had the flip-top 7-pin DIN connector included! Pay more, get less nowadays, it seems. read more.

I have a 2020 Ultra Classic Limited CVO. I already added the compatible CB module. Will this part enable me to talk on my CB as well as Navigation and music. I don't want to use the wireless headset. I prefer plug in headset function. Thank you Jimbo
