Amazing value, why can't I give this 6 stars?
Wow, where to begin... I was planning a road trip with some of my HOG bro's, we had set a course for the Starbucks all the way across town. Now I know what you're all thinking, that's way too far to ride and normally I would agree but my Harley Davidson edition F-150 was in the shop getting detailed so I had no way to pull my toy hauler leaving me with only one option, I would have to ride the 10 miles. I knew that I would need my harley bike cover(not gonna leave my 2014 CVO sitting out in the sun am I?) but I had no way to haul it so off to the dealer I went for some new accessories. I talked with the parts counter guy and he directed me towards this amazing little bungee cord, at only $2.95 I wondered how it was even a genuine harley part but the counter guy assured me it was. I bought a dozen of them and fastened my harley cover to the back of my shiny CVO for the trip. On pulling out of the parking lot I couldn't believe the extra power I felt, this bungee cord had to have doubled my horsepower and torque. My HOG bro's were all amazed as I left them in the dust and reached speeds exceeding 45 miles per hour. I had to watch my throttle after that, don't wanna void the warranty and lose my resale value ya know? It was the best Starbucks run I ever had, even without my trailer. I wish I could give this little bungee cord 6 stars, damn fascist rating system. read more.

Are the ends plastic or metal? If metal, coated?

    • Answer:
Hi daseits001, The ends are metal. They do have a very light coating on them. I would not recommend attaching them to anything that could be cosmetically damaged if the coating was insufficient. If you do, it would be best to find a way to protect that part before attaching the bungee. TheBronzeFonz read more.
