I did not receive the hardware for the seat strap and when I emailed Harley Davidson about it I got a short rude replay “hardware is not included with the seat” but when I replied back stating that the installation instructions sheet states that the hardware is included and you should contact Harley Davison if missing part that’s the response I got. Very disappointing when you paid 424$ for a seat

Its entire purpose is to bring me closer and lower. It does that. I haven’t had any HD seat that was awesome and comfortable. This one is okay but I have a gel/air cushion pad for long rides. For the cost of HD products they could go a little further with the comfort.

Unfortunately, this is accomplished by simply increasing the padding behind the rider so the width of the seating area is reduced since the seat pan isn't widened to accommodate the new position. Answer:Hello mitcht98, The seat attaches to the rear fender by a seat bracket. The bracket is included in the box, you will need to reuse the stock seat bolt. Thanks H9FXE
