First time I wore it I didn’t give it the 1-2 minute soak and it dried out quickly. The second time I packed it in ziplock with ice water for several hours. Temps were mid-high 80s when I ended up putting it on. Definitely takes edge off but maybe evaporative cooling doesn’t work best in south TX. The vest was still damp 2 hours later but did not feel cool in the 90 even at highway speeds. But overall am satisfied. read more

Answer:Hello Phil. Here are some consumer reviews. "I soaked my vest in an ice bath for a few minutes and completely changed the ride comfort" "Soak for 15 minutes before a ride and cuts the 100 degree weather down" Hope this helps!

Answer:Yes and no. I wore mine for the first time. It’s nice. I have to find a way to get the mesh to dry faster before putting it on. If your not careful I could look like you had an accident in the groin area. Worked great under rain gear!
