A high-revving, liquid-cooled Revolution® Max 975 engine is built into the center of the chassis to optimise weight distribution and improve handling. The next-generation V-twin delivers strong low-end torque and smooth acceleration from the moment you hit the throttle until you reach the 9,500-rpm redline.
Showa Dual Bending Valve conventional forks are tuned for stability and poise, whether you are cruising easy on the open road or leaning hard into sharp corners. Rear dual outboard shocks have 76.2 mm of travel and offer the most comfortable ride ever experienced on a Sportster.
The Nightster Special comes standard with cruise control and has a Bluetooth-enabled, 102 mm TFT display with USB connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation. The display monitors speed, gear, odometer, fuel level, and tire pressure, and can be used to adjust safety features like Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), and Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS). Using the display, riders can switch between three pre-programmed riding modes—Road, Rain, or Sport—and create two of their own custom riding modes.
A 11.7-liter fuel tank is mounted under the seat, which lowers the bike's center of gravity, improves balance, and makes the Nightster easy to maneuver. A spacious, high-flowing airbox is housed near the top of the frame, where a gas tank is traditionally mounted.
The Nightster Special has a low 688 mm seat height, mid-mounted foot controls, and handlebars on five-inch risers that bring the controls closer to the rider. An upright riding position enhances confidence, control, and comfort.
The Nightster Special has classic Sportster aesthetics, with a short wheelbase, exposed dual shocks, and a circular air intake. A retro emblem and minimalist headlight fairing add vintage charm, while the passenger seat and footpegs make the journey enjoyable for rider and passenger alike.
