Answer:Hi Mark, That's a good question. I have the trim but I only considered the fairing pouches. Looking at the amount of thread available on my installation and estimating the thickness of the mounting panel on the fairing pouch, I would say you'll be okay. I'm actually wondering how you'll like the pouches on the new Rushmore fairing wind deflector. I've heard people that both like the pouch and others who have had issues. Since I only have an Ultra FLHTCU (without the water cooling), I have ample room in the lower fairings for storage and I think I'm skipping the fairing pouches.
