FEATURED REVIEW11/9/2024It does what it says it will do. Split the windI’m 5ft 10 1/2 in boots. I choose the 19” screen. I have a slightly fatter seat, the HD sundowner and the top of the screen falls level with my chin. I find that it keeps most of the rain off my chest but not the helmet. Wind noise depends on what helmet I wear. Open face attracts hardly any wind noise. Full face some wind noise but my favourite helmet, the retro Bell Bullit, the wind buffeting nearly rips the visor from my helmet at 70mph ish. In heavy rain it really does the job for me and gives protection but come on I’m riding a motorcycle in the wind so what else do I expect. Anyone who wants full protection from the wind should maybe take the car instead. Expensive for my level of satisfaction but overall when it rains and on long runs I’m glad it’s there. read more.

FEATURED REVIEW5/9/2024Overall, very pleased.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm very pleased. I'm a 6' rider and the shield stops right at my chin. 70 MPH and above, there is some buffeting on the top of my helmet, but nothing overly significant. Dramatic decrease in the volume of wind hitting my torso. Makes longer distance commutes a lot more enjoyable. Very easy to install and shipping was very quick. read more.

FEATURED REVIEW3/12/2024Wind Splitter Compact 19 in Windshield for Fat Bob[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the H-D Wind Splitter Compact 19 in. Windshield for my Softail Fat Bob 114. It was very easy to install there are several YouTube videos with step by step. The windshield is very good quality and seems very sturdy. It does provide very good wind protection as I expected. I am 6' 2" and I do notice just a little wind buffeting over 65 MPH. It is manageable. read more.

FEATURED REVIEW8/2/2022Major Head Buffetting[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with most of the Harley products I own, but this one doesn't cut it. I've seen people in the 6' to 6'4" range make the same comment. I'm 5'10"-5'11" (depends on if I've eaten my spinach) and the head buffetting is RIDICULOUS. I'm better off riding without it. This seems to be an issue with the 15" version too, so I'm wondering if the wind is coming up from under the fairing. Perhaps this works for you, but this was an expensive mistake for me. I would check out other options from other manufacturers. read more.

Answer:Hello Cuaco Lara, Harley-Davidson used to offer a Locking Quick-Release Windshield Clamp, but it is not currently sold on the website. You may want to reach out to your local H-D dealer, to see what they may suggest.
