    Warm hands....yes....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great and will keep you hand nice and warm. Sometimes I will have to turn them off because they get too warm. But beats the alternative.

    Ugly Wire
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You have to wire the left grip to the outside of the handle bars. I didn’t buy new handle bars to have an ugly wire zip tied to them. I exchanged these for the Kahuna grips.

    Install HD heated grips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Harley Davidson brand heated hand grips since 2003. I find they make riding a lot more comfortable for my old hands. Unfortunately HD's installation instructions leave a lot to be desired. The plug on the right-hand(throttle) side of the existing wiring harness is VERY difficult to locate. Had to have my mechanic figure it out. But once installed, they work great. read more.

    Good and Bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these from my dealer for my 19 Ultra Limited Low. I was told I needed to also purchase the separate wiring harness so I did. I was going to install these myself because I was putting new bars on it too, but when I looked at the wiring harness instructions it was confusing, so I put my new bars on and had the dealer install them. first of all, I love the look of the grips, but (my fault for not reading it myself) the dealer didn't tell me these couldn't be internally wired until I had already dropped it off and they were in the process of installing them. To top it off after I got the bike home I opened the trunk and there was the brand new wiring harness I was told I needed. read more.

    • These worked for 2 years, then nothing. The selector switch is awful. On most rides I would have to turn them off as they would get turned on inadvertently. My guess is their life got shortened by unwanted overuse. The dial needs to be stiffened.

Is the wiring external or internal of the handlebars for these grips (Streamliner) if installed on a 2018 Tri-Glide?
    gnelson - Defiance, Ohio
    • Answer:
Old question but figure I'd answer in order to aid others. Many of these grips are designed to be externally wired but if modified, can be internally wired. You can file or dremel out a notches on the left grip ear and perch clamp. YouTube the preocedure.
      • Answer:
Hello George70, These grips have EXTERNAL left side power wires. These wires can not be wired internally. I hope that helps. Thank you, wildonemke
