Transform the on-street profile of your Sportster® model. Moving the foot controls to a rear-mounted location takes the riding position from a relaxed cruiser to a solo, aggressive, curve-carving posture. When combined with a Clip-On or Clubman Handlebar, the resulting hands-forward and feet-back profile drapes the rider over the bike and makes you feel a part of the machine.

    2014 Sportster Forty Eight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome product! Installed in about 4 hours (included tear down of old controls) and looks really clean! Instructions aren't very easy to understand, but if you fiddle with it for a few moments it will all fall together. Initially its one step forward two steps back, but then it just flies together. I kept the original peg mounts for mini boards - this allows me to take my feet out of the rear sets when I'm cruising and adds a little comfort. read more.

    Uncomfortable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixed opinion on this modification but cannot recommend. Quality parts and looks good installed on my 2017 Roadster, but that's the lesser half by far in the overall execution. At 5'11" I find these rear controls very uncomfortable. Controls replace and are closely positioned to where the passenger footpegs were, setting your feet far back behind the rider with a very tight and uncomfortable bend in the knees - it doesn't take long for my legs to cramp; there is also a certain amount of instabilty in the riding position with the feet so far behind the rider. While HD labled the Roadster a "cafe-racer" which suggests a more street bike orientation for which rear controls seem to make sense, the geometry of the bike just doesn't make it so. This control set up may work better for a shorter rider, but I can't recommend and will be replacing with the forward control kit. This has been a very expensive and failed experiment, with no refund for the effort! read more.

    • Would the situation be improved if the rear shocks were longer? My Roadster contacts the factory pegs in a corner so more ground clearance would be a plus.

    aftermarket foot pegs?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great kit! Easy install! although, I have aftermarket foot pegs and they don't bolt up to this thing. Is there an adapter to eliminate the need for the bump stop brackets under the foot pegs?

    • Discoverd the same when I installed the rear set controls. Had purchased the Diamond Black Collection for the bike and found the footpegs don't fit. An adaptor would sure be nice to provide the option of changing out the original footpegs.

    Best option going
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched every option for putting rear sets on my roadster. Not only is this set a little less expensive than any after market kits, but it is the only complete kit. Even RSD requires you to change brake lines. This kit doesn't require any change to the brake and actually made shifting a little smoother. read more.

    Transforms the bike
With the improvement in the suspension of the Roadster the rear sets make canyon carving most enjoyable. Now the bike is a true "sportster"
