FEATURED REVIEW9/12/20241000 Mile review.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The helmet is a funny size, so I would try one on at dealer. Now I did read comments about the softness of the visor. Before the trip I sprayed F11 on the visor. I cleaned the visor about 15 time with liquid and not 1 scratch on visor. I do love the 2 tabs one either side to open visor is very handy. Also the visor locks open in 4 different positions and stays open at speed. I installed a wireless communication system and no problem with fitment. If there is a complaint is that there is a bit more road noise than I am used to. All the vents open easy with gloves on. read more

FEATURED REVIEW11/3/2021Great Helmet[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have almost 5000 miles on this helmet. I took the sun peak off after the first highway ride with the intent of re-installing it when I rode the BDR. Of course, I forgot to reinstall it but did not seem to miss it. The helmet fits well and compares in weight to the Shoei I replaced. I purchased this helmet for my wife but it has been on b/o for several months. I would purchase again. read more

FEATURED REVIEW8/29/2021Great Helmet[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this helmet when I bought my Pan America Special about 2 months ago. I've rode about 3k miles with it bit after about 1k miles I decided to take off the visor. I was getting neck pains after long rides from wind buffet. Note, I do have the short Windshield on my PA, I looks better to me. I like the helmet so much I've been using it on my Touring bike also. read more

FEATURED REVIEW7/29/2021If it hadn’t fallen apart…[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d have given it a higher rating. It is comfortable for my head shape, which is usually an Aria helmet size M. First short ride was great, loved it. Began a 1000 mile loop and lost one peak/visor bolt. I had to keep going on and eventually lost the second bold which left me without the peek or the shield. I finished 500 miles using only the inner sun shade. My ears are still ringing, even using ear plugs. I made sure the bolts were tight before wearing the helmet on that first ride. I’ll see if I can get replacement bolts when I get home and I’ll red locktite them on, if I can get them. It’s too bad, I dug the helmet until it failed. read more

Answer:It's modular so the whole chin strap or just the clear visor can be flipped up anytime but both lock in place very well

Answer:PapaDuane, I am not very clear on the question you are asking, but the sun shield can be flipped up. The bracket/visor can be removed--not flipped as it's somewhat stationary. Thanks!
