Question:3/2/2025So, what prevents someone from unhooking it before they remove the bike cover if it's attached to the wheel or someplace the thief could see it? If its hidden somewhere else how does the owner get bike cover off without tripping the alarm?Bill - Michigan

Answer:The alarm will continue until either the battery runs dead or you reconnect the tether by replacing the pin. I have this siren and for it's small size it's ear piercing when you're next to it and it gets triggered.

Answer:My neighbour told me mine went off for a half an hour before it died.

Answer:Great question! The alarm sounds once the pin is pulled from the device. It will sound continuously until the pin is replaced or until the battery dies. I've never allowed it to go that long so I'm not sure on the battery life but it will last a good while! Hope this helps!
