    Good Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second set on my ‘99 Road King, the first set worked well and lasted near 15 years. The reason for the second set is because the settings 1-3 no longer produced heat, but aftermarket handwarmers wouldn’t keep my Harley a Harley.

    Absolutely Amazing
I have seen some reviews on these heated grips of disapproval. So I wanted to be certain to write a review about how much I like mine. First I am a novice when it comes to working on a motorcycle, however, I have been working on cars many years. I started by reading the directions twice and familiarized myself with what I would be doing. The job was simple enough and took me about 4 hours. (Take your time: slow is smooth and smooth is fast.) I left Asheville, NC at 1000 this morning and it was 42 degrees outside. ( I have tried the grips on 6 and found they were hot as heck. So I put them on 3 to start.) I was traveling on I40 at about 72mph. I am wearing my Mechanix work gloves. I had to turn the grips down to 2. In conclusion: I am not sure where these people are living that the highest setting isn’t helping in regards to Harley’s heated grips. But I am pretty sure it must be close to the center Dante’s hell. Well, that’s my 2 cents worth. Happy riding. read more.

Great if you suffer from Raynaud's Syndrome
I have Raynaud's Syndrome and these grips work great at keeping your fingers warm. Well worth the cost.

    Must have for cold riding!
I put this on my 2014 FXDF last year. These things are great! the only time I ever turn the grips over setting 3 is if its below 50 out. They are great for morning rides and if you get stuck out after the sun goes down. I will always have a set on my bike. A+

    Tvon - Boston
    • Answer:
Hello Tvon, Part number 72673-11 is only needed for '14-later XL, '12-'17 Dyna® and '11-'17 Softail® models. I hope this helps. Thanks blairmke
  • Question:
    3/28/2020
Are the internally wired? Or do the have a wire loop externally to get around the switchgear? Also, are these for push/pull throttle cables? Thanks
rupzuk - Prince Rupert, BC, Canada
    • Answer:
Hello ruozuk, Per the fitment tab on the product page, The power wires for these grips must be wired external of the handlebar. These will work with push/pull throttle cables. Thanks H9FXE
  • Question:
    12/17/2018
Are the wires long enough to fit a 2007 heritage softail with Harley mini-ape bars?  If not, is there a wire extension kit?
    Usbigred - Nj
    • Answer:
Hi Usbigred, I would recommend grabbing the part number off those handlebars and searching that part number for an item description. Typically if they are not compatible with heated grips they will say so in their fitment statement. If the wiring is not long enough for a certain set of bars, that set of bars would state that they are not compatible with heated grips. TheBronzeFonz read more.

  • Question:

Not for use with internally wired handlebars - why?
    • Answer:
Hello Fonsi, The Narrow Beach bar also states that they do not fit with Heated Hand Grips. I do not have all of the exact reason as to why, but it is most likely a clearance issue internally with the extra wires. Thank You!
