FEATURED REVIEW12/17/2015Great choice and warmMy 2007 Electra Ultra had heated grips on when I bought it this year and they were working up to the point when I bought the bike. I was trying to decide whether to buy heated gloves or replace the grips. I didn't want to deal with the wires from heated gloves but I read all the grip reviews and not to many were good. My decision was made for the grips because the original grips lasted 8 years. I rode home in 45 degree weather and during the half hour trip I had adjusted the temp down to #1 which is the coolest setting and my hands were toasty warm while wearing my summer full finger gloves. These grips are a little larger and are easier on my arthritic hands and when the heat is on its like therapy. read more.

Question:2/19/2023will these work with throttle by wire? I purchased them and the throttle grip is setup for throttle by cable. Am I supposed to do something with them to get them to work?Lukifer - Ohio

Answer:Lukifer Per the details tab, Fits ’02-’17 VRSC, ’96-later XL, ’08-’13 XR, ’96-’17 Dyna (except FXDLS) and ’96-’15 Softail (except FLSTSE, FLSTNSE, and FXSBSE) and ’96-’07 Touring models. ’14-later XL, ’12-’17 Dyna and ’11-’15 Softail models require separate purchase of Electrical Connection Kit P/N 72673-11. If you year and model is not listed they are not for your bike. Thanks read more.

Question:11/26/2022I have swapped the factory handle bars with 10” apes. Is there an extension for the wire coming from the throttle to the left grip? Right now the wire is about 12” short.49Panhead - Iowa

Answer:49Panhead That kit should have come with Wire-Harness extension, PN 70259-02. If you have that installed and the wire is too short, kit may not have been designed to accommodate your 10" apes. Thanks, blue84irnhd
