Keep comfortable on cool morning or frigid night rides. These thermostatically controlled grips feature variable heat settings controlled with a military grade resistor, and use automatic temperature monitoring to adjust to ambient temperatures. Grips have been thermally mapped to provide a more uniform heat and are designed to achieve a maximum operating temperature approximately 20° Fahrenheit warmer than previous accessory heated grips for added warmth during cold rides.

    Not all that great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was much cleaner when Harley offered internally wired grips. Externally wired grips on apes looks so tacky

    Great Handgrips!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and they get very warm. Will not have to turn them all the way up.

    Just another review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dealer installed on a 2017 Tri-Glide at time of purchase (3 winters ago). The shape is odd but feels good. Diameter is good for a size L, wearing finger-less, medium weight, & heavy heated gloves. Keeps palms warm to temps of ~20 deg. F., have not ridden in colder, yet with this bike. The wire going under the left controls vibrated & broke after 2 years. Dealership took some time to locate the fault and repair the wire. The repair broke after a month. Repaired and routed in a slightly different manner by a more experienced technician. Been good for 6 months. I have installed & used HD heated grips since 2003. They work well for a few years and then the heat seems to fade. The broken wire is likely what happened in the past & I was not able to find the fault on my own. read more.

    Work great but don't last!
Put a pair on my girlfriend's 2010 Heritage about 2 1/2 years ago. They worked great at first, last two years and now they quit. The left side either has a burned out element or it could be a wire broken where it enters the grip. Either way, now to replace it I would need to buy a whole new set up. Not impressed! read more.

I have 14" ape hangers on my 2012 Road Glide ultra. Will the cables be long enough? Also, why can they not be wired through the bars? Are the "plug in play" for my bike or would I need an adapter?
    Bansheemyk2001 - Spokane, wa
    • Answer:
Hello Bansheemyk2001, Yes they will fit on your bike, they were not designed to be wired internally, you do not need an adapter and you will need to splice a wire. Under the guides tab is the install instructions. I hope that helps. Thank you, wildonemke

  • Question:
    7/7/2019
I have a 2006 ultra SE/CVO. While taking my bars off the bike I damaged one of the heated grips to the point it’s unrepairable. I want to put heated grips back on it and the wires will be in the bars. Will these work. If not what will work? Thanks
    Roger1126 - Gallipolis Ohio
    • Answer:
Hello Roger1126, These grips here do not fit the 06' Ultra SE/CVO, however the handgrips that originally came on the bike are available and would have to be ordered through your local H-D dealership. Thank you, Jowill39
  • Question:

I have a 2018 Softail Heritage FLHC can these be fitted with cables in bars ? Or are they wired external. I was led to believe it was the case of simply running the feedcables down the bar tubes.
    Spike 55 - uk
    • Answer:
Hello Spike 55, These grips are designed to be run along the outside of the handlebars. Thanks H9FXE
