FEATURED REVIEW6/22/2022Brackets Weld snapped[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking forward to getting my sissy bar mounted but welds snapped while torquing the rear bolts. I guess this a common issue since another person has had the same problem. Was expecting better quality from Harley. This can also be a safety issue and I feel this problem needs a revision. read more.

FEATURED REVIEW4/22/2017Installed on 2017 Low Rider S with detachable sissy bar and saddlebagFYI..There is some confusion on whether this one is the right kit for the Low Rider S with Saddlebags or not. At Harley it's designated for the Street Bob. I used it to install my detachable sissy bar and saddlebags. The bolts weren't long enough for my saddlebag so I had to get those elsewhere. FYI in case you need a bolt near 3 inch, the kit doesn't have them. Also, be very careful tightening the rear most bolt. It is tack welded in and doesn't have a reinforcement like the front one. On my first round it broke before I got to the torque specs (15-20 ft lbs). Harley was gracious enough to give me a new one. But be careful when tightening them. Easy to install and works as designed. read more.

Yep.... broke both my rear weld nuts. Based on your comments, started out at mid-spec 20 Nm and broke, no warning or feeling of yield prior. The second I backed off to min spec'd torque of 16 Nm but still failed.- Sterling Hts, MI4/28/2018
