    Easy install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install but it should come with it already on the bike . Some people obviously like it like that but overall easy to install !!

    Not 100%
I love the way this bracket looks on my street bob. The only issue I have is the use of a pen nut in the bracket that replaces the standard rear seat mount. It doesn't hold the seat bracket above the fender and this screws up the paint. go out and get a nylon washer will help but this was obviously missed by HD read more.

    Poor design and quality
I have this plastic bracket installed on my 2015 Street Bob. I read the bad reviews, but figured that I would try it anyway. After some road time, I took my LP Daytona seat off to do some work and found that the bracket had begun to slip, forcing the seat bolt to rub against the fender (if your seat mounts in the back hole, your seat bolt will be mounted directly to the bracket). The rubbing caused some paint damage to my fender, not to mention I don't feel comfortable anymore from a safety standpoint. The last thing you want is to hit a bump going 70mph and have that bracket break. I'm looking into replacement options now. IMO, HD needs to pull this product immediately. read more.

    Better than side plate
I get it. A bobber should have a side license plate but vertical and on an old style, rigid bobber. It looks ridiculous on a brand new bike. This product, at least, fixes that issue but the gap between the fender and the plate kills me. Looks like a mud flap. We are going to be in 2014 and H-D still is struggling for a cool look that is still "street" legal, with the relocation kit. UGLY! At least have the plate and light flush with the fender. Looks like the stock import bike plate mount. Harley is light years from where they were in stock styling and this kills the best looking model on their roster. read more.
    • I'm trying to find some other option to get saddlebags on my bike without using this overpriced monstrosity. Not seeing any other options yet that i like. The search goes on....

  • Question:
    12/3/2013
Can this kit be installed without relocating the rear turn signals? Is there a new spacer included to take up the space used by the existing mount?
    Bloodhound0000 - Scurry, TX
    • Answer:
Yes it can. I didn't like how far the plate stuck out in the stock location of the FXDB so I purchased this kit. I wasn't interested in putting bags on, just moving the plate. You just need to order a signal spacer like on the right side, same part number.. just flip it around for the left. You'll use the existing hardware and wiring. While this looks better than the stock plate mount (imo), it's really the lessor of two evils. They could have made this much nicer looking without the gap or light that sticks out so far. read more.
      • Answer:
Hi Bloodhound0000, No, the turn signals must be relocated. If installing a detachable accessory with saddebags, turn signal relocation kit (Part Number 68227-09) is required. Without saddlebags, (Part Number 53968-06C) is required. Hope this helps!

When using this relocation kit & installing saddlebags, do I need a kit to relocate the tail lights?
    McGyver - Detroit, Mi
    • Answer:
Yep, looks like you'll need P/N 68227-09 Turn Signal Relocation Kit if you're puttin' bags on your FXDB.
