FEATURED REVIEW3/23/2020Good Quality but Not Worth the Effort[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item in hope that it would be narrow enough to install the footboard mounts from a Slim onto my Fat Boy. I was looking for more cornering clearance. This cover is less than a quarter of an inch narrower overall. However, the cover does taper more to a smaller derby cover. This might give a slight bit more clearance but it's a look I'm not too fond of. The satin chrome finish doesn't match the finish on the bike either. While it doesn't look bad or defective, it is noticeably shinier, with much more reflection. It looks polished rather than satin. The cover fit up perfectly and a new gasket insured there wouldn't be any leaks. Overall, the finish doesn't match, I don't like the look as much and it didn't do what I was installing it for. Answer:F100owner, Original Equipment on '19-later Softail models - not all but some models do have the Narrow Profile.
