Question:3/13/2023I have a 2005 FLHRI that has had the auxiliary lamps removed. I purchased a lamp bar with LED lamps from a 2014 model. Will this kit allow me to plug in the LED's without having to butcher my wiring harness?Tracy

Answer:Hello Tracy, The short answer is that this wiring kit was designed for Led lamps kits and the wiring harness should plug in on your motorcycle, however installing the led lights from a 2014 to your 2005 FLHRI is not an authorized fitment, and the wiring harness will not plug in to your recently purchased lights. read more.

Answer:Good afternoon Dallas, That harness is a fitment for ’97-later Road King® (except FLHRS). Kit uses Original Equipment nacelle switch to power the fog lamps for Road King®. FHLRXS models require separate purchase of P/Ns 15346-98A, 71522-08 and 74408-08A. Depending on the model year you may be able to have the BCM configured to allow your auxiliary lamps to light with both high & low beams, but when using this harness the P&A fog lamps will be lit when the auxiliary lamps are lit. read more.

Question:11/15/2018have this harness, you state in first line that this kit comes with switch. opened box and guess what no switch????? so i follow instructions plug in and fog lights come on with key in run position? is this normal? did you guys miss a step somewhere ?Lous - centereach ny

Answer:Hi Lous, This kit does not come with a switch, it states in the description that it uses the original-equipment switch, which is the one that is already on the motorcycle (depending on the model). If you are installing this on a model that does not have a switch you would need to install one.
