Surprised about 12 in HD shocks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to lower mc from 13in to 12 in. Non OMC shocks did not give as smooth a ride as original and more expensive. Was surprised the 12 in hd shock was cheaper but gave me back the original smooth ride. Also very easy to adjust when wife wants to ride along! read more.

Oh my God. These shocks are garbage.
These reviews must have been written by Harley Davidson. There’s nothing premium about these mismatched shocks that permit swingarm flexing. Do not buy. Harley should be ashamed. I wonder how many accidents these shocks have caused.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came back after a ride to find fluid on ground under the shock the next day. Now looking for aftermarket shock.

  • Question:

I put Legend shocks on my previous street glide because in 2011 it was not good I now have a 2018 and wondering if the suspension is improved or if I should put my Legends on attempting to upgrade
    Goosman - West Fargo ND
    • Answer:
From what I've researched there hasn't been an improvement. I have a 17 Ultra Classic and going to be going with Legend just can't decide on Revo or Revo-A. Don't know if the adjustable is worth the extra $$. I ride two up most of the time so maybe A's.

Is the picture correct that the right shock looks installed upside down?
    Bart - WI
    • Answer:
Hi Bart, It's right side up--the thicker edge has to fit closer to the Motorcycle. Yep, the picture is correct in the I-sheet. Thanks!
