Good quality on the build. I ended up using the stock nuts for the exhaust manifold and then I removed the baffle ( had to drill out three rivets. It says high flow exhaust but with a 10" cat in it and that baffle having a restricter ring that goes down to about a half an inch and the opens back up right after it. you take out those things and it brings the bike to life. Night and day difference on my 122. Totally worth it. read more.

    • Did you take the cat out also or just the baffles?

    These pipes are awesome !!!
I put this system on my new 2020 Heritage 114. They sound great. Not loud like straight pipes but a real meaty sound. I cannot hear them at cruising speeds so not overwhelming. I had the dealer Fox River Harley in St. Charles ,install them and put it on a dyno afterwords. It put out 103 lbs. of torque and 82 H.P. But I do not know how it performed before these pipes were installed. Overall very pleased with this product and they look great. read more.

    • @ Andy the stock power and torque is measured at the crank ren bob measured at the wheel so it makes sense that the power is lower

    • At what rpm? Harley states that the stock bike puts out 94 hp at 5,000 rpm and 119 ft lbs of torque at 3,000rpm

I have just purchased a new 2023 Low Rider ST (FXLRST). Do not plan on any engine upgrades but a 2 into 1 exhaust pipe. Will this work with the stock 117 M8. Will installation require the addition of a tuner or will the ECU make the necessary adjustment
    Stevorino - New jersey
    • Answer:
I installed this exhaust in the satin about 2 years ago on my 22 FXLRST. It required ECU calibration.
  • Question:

Can I run this exhaust on a 2019 street bob with a 107 Milwaukee 8? Do I need to add anything with the exhaust?
    • Answer:
Mason DETAILS Fits '18-later Softail models (except FXDRS, FLFB, FLFBS, FXBR, and FXBRS) ECM Calibration Required: Yes Thanks

Can this be installed this on a stock 21 Fat Bob 114? What other mods are required to get the best performance for cost assuming no other mods have been installed above stock?
    Skot - Indy
    • Answer:
Skot, This can be installed on a 2021 FXFBS 114. With other add ons and what you can get for different cost options I would speak with your dealer as there are a good amount of variables to each scenario.

Unlike many of HD owners, I do not like a "loud" bike. Is the sound output of this system louder or quieter than the sound output from the stock system?
    Big Bob - VA
    • Answer:
Good afternoon Big Bob, Both stock and Screamin Eagle pipes meet the EPA requirement of 80dB. I would assume there would be a slight difference in sound levels but most of the difference would probably be in tone more than audible volume. You may want to see your dealer to see if they have a bike with these installed for comparison. read more.
