A sissy bar and passenger backrest pad is the starting point for building a complete touring machine. The backrest adds long-range comfort and support and provides a feeling of confidence and control for the passenger. HoldFast One-Piece Uprights feature an exclusive latch system that permits the backrest to be installed or removed in seconds to add versatility to your ride. The HoldFast sissy bar upright simply slips into position on the docking points, and the fingertip latches are clicked into position for a positive lock.

Hands down best Bike I have ever owned. I ended up buying the 2020 Fatbob after wanting one in 2018 when they came out with the newer body style. And after 3 years of waiting I sold my old 2003 sportser 1200 and stepped up my bike. I loved my sportster because I upgraded it from the 883 to the 1200 and put over 20k miles on it as a 1200 but the FXFBS 114 rides just like it, with the aggressive stance and drag bars. The 114 doesnt shutter with the other half on the back like the 1200 did and the FXFBS, as a softtail that can be adjusted with the suspension knob, can rides stiff or soft at anytime. read more.

First this a quality sissy bar and it looks good on my Fat Bob. However, it now comes with a flat 3 point pad attachment bracket instead of the 2 point. The 3 point is a better idea but it is just flat stamped steel. The pictures used with the ad shows a flat 3 point bracket laying with the bar, but the picture of the bar installed shows the 2 point. The 2 point has angled ends that wrap around the bar and so you would assume the better designed 3 point would be curved at each point of contact. Nope it is just flat stamped steel and it is just begging to slide and scratch your 200.00 bar. The 3 point would have fixed the problem of sliding backrest if it was curved to wrap around the bar. It really is no better than the first design and this piece ain’t cheap. read more.

This is an utter dumpster fire of a design. 3 days after I bought it, the left side latch hardware went missing; as I went to remove the backrest, the latch came off in my hand because the screw was long gone (good luck getting parts for that; I had to order the proprietary-length screw and got super lucky that the spring washer was still wedged in there). That's not the bad design part, just lack of QC/torque spec checking/thread-lock compound. The shape and design of the bar itself, as well as the pad mount, are an epic failure. The top of the bar is tapered; wider at the bottom. The pad has a little strap with curved ends that only cover 1/4 of the bar. So, just the slightest bump on the pad, and it slides into the broadening taper and falls off on the ground, not to mention taking the paint off the bar as it goes. The strap cannot go any tighter without stripping the threaded bosses out; it needs to curve at least half way around the bars (which would still let it slide down and scrape paint, but at least not fall all the way off, and there needs to be a screw on each side through the strap and into the bar. Disappointed is an understatement.. nearly $400 (with pad and docking hardware) for a total piece of junk . I want my money back until they redo this garbage design. A quick google search will show many others that have the same complaints. I wish I had searched before I bought, but it was an OEM accessory, and didn't think I had to. read more.

    • Wow you are so right. I made same assumptions and mistakes as you. My whole right side latch fell off somewhere. And, all I can say is DITTO on the pad. This is so bad Harley really should make this right at the dealer.
