    Stick to the original
Why would you want to deviate from the OE plugs? They are similar in price to other plugs and they run great. I just replaced mine and it runs like normal.

I have always used this spark plug...once I went with a "upgraded" spark plug that cost way more to find that it ran the same #couldn't tell the difference riding let's say# but the engine light would come on #guess there is a pick up inside the plug on original plug that other spark plugs may not have...needed on the 2007 Wide Glide# and the light would stay on for a little while then go out and then back on; so on and so on...quickly I went back to original type plug and engine light went off for good. For $3.95 and a plug that does the job perfectly and you can change out cheaply any time you want to, why not go with what the bike comes with #and in my case a plug my bike approves of#? I usually change out every spring and every fall #so every 7-8 thousand miles...more often than needed I suppose# but for less than a couple of min and for less than a $10 bill what is there to lose is the way I figure it, for a bike that runs perfect with no engine light coming on. read more.

    • I read somewhere that the twin cam engine with EFI has an anti-knock feature that only works with OEM plugs. Perhaps that is why you got the engine light to come on with the other plugs. Its just a guess - I only use OEM plugs.

Hi John, There could be other options for the Road King Custom EFI. You will need to plug in your year/model on www.Harley-Davidson.com and select Screamin' Eagle Performance as your category. Thanks.
